University Course Selection Guidance
The University Course Selection Guidance Programme is designed for undergraduate students who are about to begin their studies or who are currently enrolled. The programme assists students in developing a well-considered course selection strategy by taking into account programme requirements, course difficulty, personal interests, teaching styles, graduation requirements, and future postgraduate or career objectives. Course selection has implications not only for a student's academic workload within a given semester, but also for their GPA, disciplinary focus, research opportunities, and long-term development trajectory. Through systematic planning, students can develop a clearer understanding of their university learning pathway. -
University Course Preview
The University Course Preview Programme is designed for students who are about to begin their studies at an overseas university, or who wish to familiarise themselves with the pace and expectations of university-level learning in advance. Based on the student's intended major and target courses, the programme introduces the core concepts, reading materials, study methods, and common assignment formats associated with the relevant university-level curriculum, helping students establish a foundational framework for their chosen field. The programme is particularly well-suited to students transitioning from secondary school to a university learning environment, supporting them in reducing the sense of disorientation commonly experienced at the outset of their studies. -
Research Proposal Coaching
The Research Proposal Coaching Programme is designed for students who are planning to apply for research-based master's or doctoral programmes, or who need to clarify their research direction in advance. Drawing on the student's disciplinary background, research interests, and future development goals, the programme assists the student in identifying a research theme, formulating a research question, establishing a literature foundation, designing a research methodology, and ultimately producing a well-structured and logically coherent research proposal. The programme is particularly suited to students who wish to demonstrate their academic potential, research competence, and disciplinary fit. -
High-Level Research Publication Programme
The High-Level Research Publication Programme is designed for students at the university level who wish to engage in substantive academic inquiry, accumulate research experience, and produce demonstrable scholarly outputs. Based on the student's academic foundation, target discipline, application objectives, and programme expectations, the programme is offered in two formats: the One-on-One Research Mentorship Programme and the SCI/SSCI Paper Supervision Programme. These formats are designed to address the varying needs of different students with respect to the depth of personalised support, research output standards, and publication objectives. [One-on-One Research Mentorship Programme] The One-on-One Research Mentorship Programme is designed for students who wish to pursue customised research aligned with their personal academic interests. Supervision is typically provided by doctoral candidates, postdoctoral researchers, research fellows, or professors in the relevant field. Based on the student's academic foundation, target discipline, and future application objectives, a research topic tailored to the student's individual development is designed. Under the sustained one-on-one support of a mentor, the student completes the full research process — from topic selection and literature review to research design, data analysis, and academic writing. This programme is particularly suited to students who value a high degree of flexibility, strong personalised support, and the opportunity to produce an independent scholarly output centred on their own intellectual interests. Through ongoing mentor communication and phased feedback, students not only complete an academic project but also progressively develop their understanding and articulation of a specific disciplinary field. [SCI/SSCI Paper Supervision Programme] The SCI/SSCI Paper Supervision Programme is designed for students who already possess a solid academic foundation and wish to complete a higher-level research output, with the specific goal of producing a manuscript suitable for submission to an international peer-reviewed journal. Based on the student's disciplinary background, research foundation, existing data, or preliminary topic ideas, the programme matches the student with a mentor in the relevant field and provides one-on-one supervision across all stages of the research process — including topic refinement, research design, literature review, data analysis, academic writing, journal selection, and submission preparation.
In contrast to standard research mentorship, the SCI/SSCI Paper Supervision Programme places greater emphasis on the academic significance of the research question, the methodological rigour of the research design, the structural integrity of the manuscript, and compliance with international journal submission standards. The programme aims to help students understand the complete workflow involved in producing a high-level academic publication, strengthen their capacity for independent research, academic writing, and international scholarly communication, and generate a high-quality research output that can be leveraged for postgraduate applications, research profile development, and future academic pursuits. -
EPQ/IEPQ Programme
The EPQ/IEPQ Independent Research Project Programme is designed for students who wish to complete a comprehensive academic research project during secondary school. The programme encourages students to pursue a specific question of personal interest, engage in in-depth inquiry, and, under the guidance of a dedicated mentor, complete all stages of the research process — including topic selection, literature review, research design, project log maintenance, academic writing, and final presentation. Beyond providing students with an early introduction to university-style research, the programme generates substantive academic material that can be drawn upon for university applications, personal statements, and admissions interviews. -
Academic Writing Tutoring
The Academic Writing Tutoring Programme is designed for students who need to complete essays, reports, research papers, dissertations, or other academic writing assignments. The programme helps students understand assignment requirements and marking criteria, identify a clear thesis, develop an essay structure, formulate main arguments and supporting points, and apply appropriate citation conventions and academic writing standards. The primary focus of the tutoring is on equipping students with transferable academic writing skills, rather than on the completion of any single assignment. -
A-Level Test Preparation
The A-Level Examination Preparation Programme is designed for students currently enrolled in A-Level courses or preparing for upcoming AS/A2 examinations. Drawing on each student's current subject proficiency, target grades, and examination timeline, the programme provides personalised instruction covering knowledge consolidation, past-paper practice, examination technique guidance, and structured revision planning. The programme supports students across multiple examination boards, including CIE, Edexcel, AQA, OCR, and WJEC, and covers subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Further Mathematics, History, Business Studies, English Literature, Accounting, Computer Science, Chinese, and Biology. The programme aims to help students develop a more systematic understanding of course content, improve examination performance, and establish effective study habits suited to the international curriculum framework. In addition, if students have specific needs, we can also provide systematic multi-subject tutoring for AP and IB courses.
