Service Workflow
Standard Track
The Standard Track is designed for students who are new to academic research and seek structured support in completing the EPQ/IEPQ project from start to finish. The track includes an introductory research course, academic writing group sessions, a general project orientation course, and personalised one-on-one guidance sessions, guiding students through the full project cycle from topic selection to final presentation.
1. Project Initiation and Writing Foundations
Students attend academic writing sessions to develop an understanding of the EPQ/IEPQ requirements, academic writing conventions, and the overall project completion pathway.
2. Topic Selection and Project Planning
The mentor guides students through topic exploration, research question formulation, and preliminary literature searching, culminating in the completion of the project Proposal and research plan.
3. Essay Draft Development
Students undertake research methodology design, data and source collection, literature review, data analysis, and the drafting of the research essay in relation to the confirmed research question.
4. Final Revision
The mentor assists students in refining the essay's structure, argumentation, language expression, and formatting conventions, producing a polished final essay of approximately 5,000 words.
5. Presentation and Project Completion
Students complete the Production Log, prepare Presentation materials, compile project appendices, and write a final reflection, thereby producing a complete set of EPQ/IEPQ project deliverables.
Premium Track Track
The Premium Track is intended for students with higher academic aspirations who seek more extensive one-on-one support and a more refined project development process. In addition to all components included in the Standard Track, the Premium Track provides unlimited project orientation and personalised guidance sessions throughout the contract period, supporting students through multiple rounds of revision and in-depth refinement.
1. Project Initiation and Writing Foundations
Students attend academic writing sessions to establish a foundation in academic writing and develop an understanding of the overall requirements of the EPQ/IEPQ project.
2. Topic Selection and Project Planning
The mentor guides students through advanced topic development, Production Log writing methodology, preliminary resource searching, Proposal finalisation, and project planning.
3. Draft Construction
Students develop the core components of the research essay — including research methodology, source collection, essay structure, introduction, and literature review — in relation to the confirmed research question.
4. Mid-Project Reflection
Students complete a mid-term Reflection and Production Log Mid-Term Review, evaluating research progress and adjusting the direction of subsequent work.
5. Final Polishing
The mentor supports students in completing data analysis, discussion, conclusion, language refinement, and final revision, enhancing the overall completeness and quality of expression.
6. Defence Preparation and Final Compilation
Students complete the Production Review, prepare Presentation materials, participate in a mock defence, write a final project reflection, and compile all project deliverables.
