The 16th Harvard Model United Nations China

Upon enrolment in this programme, you will have the opportunity to participate in one of Asia’s most prestigious Model United Nations conferences, gaining valuable experience in diplomacy, international relations, and public speaking while engaging with a global network of high-achieving students.

The Harvard Model United Nations China Conference (HMUN China) is one of the most academically rigorous and internationally recognised MUN conferences for middle and high school students in Asia. Organised by Harvard Model United Nations and hosted by High Leap Education, the conference brings together over 1,200 students from more than 20 countries to debate pressing global issues and develop leadership, collaboration, and critical thinking skills.

The 16th HMUN China Conference will take place in Guangzhou, continuing a 15-year tradition of academic excellence and international engagement. Delegates assume the roles of diplomats representing UN member states, participating in structured debates, negotiations, and resolution drafting, closely mirroring real United Nations processes.

Over four days, students engage in intensive committee sessions, guided by experienced Harvard University student leaders. The conference offers a dynamic and challenging environment where participants refine their public speaking, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities while gaining a deeper understanding of global affairs.
