Who is Beijing Mandarin? Beijing Mandarin has supported Mandarin education since 1992. We started as an in-class instruction-focused program. Red Shoe Dance was founded by Jacqui Roberts back in 2005 after realising a lack of modern and contemporary dance tuition for children in Hong Kong. Jacqui's mission was to address the gap and heighten the profile of dance as an evolving and diverse art form. She introduced Modern, Jazz and Hip Hop courses to the after school programs at ESF and International schools, allowing dance to become more accessible to both boys and girls. Her classes became so popular that she was able to open her first studio in Central in 2010, and a year later, open her second studio in Wong Chuk Hang. The school has now become a centre of excellence, providing students with quality training and support for a successful career in the dance industry.
