Exam Strategies 101

Effective exam strategies can help students prepare and perform well on exams. It is essential students’ study for exams well in advance to avoid cramming and last-minute stress. By creating an exam study schedule, students are in a better position to review the relevant materials thoroughly and can focus on specific topics and concepts of weakness or difficulty that may require more time.

Techniques for success:  

As a way forward, students are advised to practice using past exams or sample questions to get a sense of the types of questions that may be asked and build confidence. By engaging in these active learning techniques such as summarizing, note-taking, and concept mapping, students will be in a stronger position to retain information and improve understanding.

These platforms offer free online courses, assessments and quizzes in a variety of subjects including math, science, humanities, etc., to help students understand and assimilate information, as required by the exam boards.
